What Should Be In A Master Bedroom?

Master bedrooms are the epitome of luxury and relaxation, and they're usually a reflection of your taste and personality. A master bedroom should be an escape from the world outside, a place where you can relax and unwind after a long day. However, we all know that there's more to creating the perfect master bedroom than just throwing in some expensive furniture.

For starters you want a comfortable bed and stylish headboard. The bed is the focal point of the room, as it is usually the biggest piece of furniture. It's also the piece of furniture that you will use the most for relaxing, so it needs top consideration. Next, a well placed, and well designed throw rug can compliment the space, even if your room is carpeted. Choose something with a soft feel and soothing color palette.

Good curtains and lighting are also important features to pay special attention to. But when it comes to curtains, don't choose style over function. Instead get both. With so many varieties out there, you should easily be able to find a set that fits your need for privacy/outside light control, and aesthetic design. As with the rug, soft and calming colors should be your focus.

The correct lighting accessories are very important. If possible get LED bulbs that have multi-colors. Being able to set the light color to fit your mood can really make your bedroom your sanctuary. At least one well styled nightstand is a must. Two are preferable for the symmetry of the room, but if budget and/or space doesn't

allow two, then get one that fits your style and needs.

Storage is very important in a bedroom and is usually over looked until there's not enough of it. A good dresser can easily solve this problem. When it comes to dressers, bigger is not always better. The dresser should compliment your bed, not overpower it. Get something that adds to the overall feel and design of your room.

The master bedroom is a sanctuary. It's where you can get away from it all and spend quality time with yourself or spouse. But if you're like most people, the space is still far from perfect. Whether it's too small or needs better lighting or maybe even an updated color scheme. But just remember, there are lots of ways to make it feel more like a sanctuary and less like a storage room. Just take some time, get inspired, and get to work.
